There was a time when people used to call up a broker on the telephone and  place their trades manually.

Although it is still done this way in some cases, choosing a Forex broker has more to do with electronic means than anything else today.

It is important to look at what is behind the broker and to choose a Forex platform that is going to benefit you in your trading practices.  For that, there are a number of things that need to be looked into.
